AYEDAŞ balances the necessary scheduled power outage times taking the "OHS", "Consumers" and "Investments” triangle into account

Sustaining its investment and maintenance works at full speed to provide high-quality and uninterrupted energy to a population of 5.5 million people on the Anatolian Side of Istanbul, AYEDAŞ announces the mandatory scheduled outages to carry out these works 48 hours in advance to avoid any inconvenience

Anadolu Yakası Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş. (AYEDAŞ) optimizes the timing and total duration of the mandatory scheduled outages to carry out investment and maintenance works, so that consumers are least affected; and AYEDAŞ announces all scheduled outages 48 hours in advance on the AYEDAŞ website and AYEDAŞ 186 Mobile Application.

AYEDAŞ serves 5.5 million electricity consumers on the Anatolian Side of Istanbul with a line length of approximately 34,000 kilometers and a distribution network consisting of more than 8,000 substations and other elements.

With the goal to meet the increasing electricity demand in line with the increasing population and the increase in the average consumption per capita in Turkey as well as throughout the world, AYEDAŞ carries out intensive investment and maintenance works in this regard.

Attaching utmost significance to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) during maintaining these highly dangerous activities, AYEDAŞ meticulously determines the interruption times of the scheduled outages, which is vital for the life safety of field workers.

On the other hand, the Company puts all efforts to limit the interruption in electricity supply, which is significantly important for all areas including safety, health, communication, air conditioning, etc., and the inconvenience to consumers to a minimum.

Consumers can mark the consumption points or the location they want to check on the map or enter an address to inquire outages, while they can also monitor instantaneous faults.
