Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş and Toroslar EDAŞ, i.e., the leading electricity distribution companies of Enerjisa Enerji which invests in the electricity infrastructure in Türkiye and develops projects by placing sustainability to the core of its business strategy with a particular focus on people and technology, continue providing training for students studying electric and electronics and their branch teachers for a better future as part of the vocational training activities in 14 cities where they provide distribution services. Nearly 14,000 students and branch teachers were provided training thanks to the project, which has been carried out with great devotion in the field since 2018 with the purpose of contributing to employment and efficiency in Türkiye.
Developing projects to contribute to a smarter and greener world with a particular focus on human and technology, Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş and Toroslar EDAŞ, have sustained their collaboration with the Ministry of National Education at full speed since 2018 as part of the vocational training activities in 14 cities where the companies provide electricity distribution services. In order to contribute to the efficiency and employment of the country, the Mobile Training Center Project enables the electricity distribution industry to be promoted to engineers, technicians, and technician candidates, and aims to contribute to their development.
The project, which has been ongoing in Istanbul, Hatay, Mersin, Adana, Gaziantep, Osmaniye, Zonguldak, Ankara, Bartın, Karabük, Çankırı, Kastamonu and Kırıkkale since 2018, covers the entire journey of energy from the point where the responsibility of the electricity distribution companies begins, until it reaches houses of consumers. The training also includes occupational health and safety training, which is one of the prominent issues in the electricity distribution industry.
Nearly 4,300 people provided training in the school year of 2024-2025
Thanks to the project, which is a first in the industry and developed to support the career development of young people, nearly 4,300 students and branch teachers were provided training opportunities in the school year of 2024-2025. Sustaining its operations in line with the mission of a better future, the company has been putting efforts in the field relentlessly since the very first day of the project to promote the electricity distribution industry to young people, increase employment, and guide young people who are considering a career in the industry.

In line with this vision, the protocol we signed with the Ministry of National Education in 2018 was a significant step towards creating a qualified workforce. Thanks to the project, implemented via public institutions and private sector partnership, we have so far provided comprehensive training to nearly 14,000 students and branch teachers. We are aware of the significance of the role of new generations in the journey of independent energy. To this end, we are proud and more than happy to be a part of these training programs that contribute to their development and shed light on the future.
